다음주에 있을 BMT관련하여 SQL 서버 DB 사이즈는 100MB~200MB 사이로 준비해 주시길 부탁드립니다. .
DB 사이즈가 너무 클 경우 Replication 동기화 시간이 길어지므로 BMT 기간이 늘어나게 됩니다.
그리고 말씀드렸던 Point-in-time recovery 시연을 위하여 SQL transaction을 발생시킬 수 있는 SQL문도 필요합니다.

가끔씩 DAT 나 SAN 의 환경에서 넷볼트 디바이스 상에서 문제가 발생 된다.
정상적으로 운영되던 드라이브가 OFFLINIE 으로 발생되는 경우가 있다 .
이런 경우 Topology 타입을 Auto 보단 Loop(L) Topology 타입으로 변경해 준다.

| Shared Virtual Tape Library (SVTL) |
| With all of the benefits of a regular VTL, a variety of disparate operating systems can share a single VTL's resources residing on a SAN-attached disk system with NetVault: Backup's SVTL technology. A NetVault: Backup server and several SmartClient's can simultaneously write backup streams and access restore data from a SVTL. |
| Improved Business Continuity |
| Disk-based backup provides rapid online data restores that help get a data center and mission-critical server and database applications back up and running faster in the event of a failure than traditional tape backup. Restores are faster because backup data can be easily recovered directly from either a virtual or real library, depending on media availability. Unlike competitive VTL solutions which direct restores through one node, SVTL allows access to multiple nodes. So, if a node is down or not available, the SVTL offers alternate client restore with direct access from disk. Alternate Client Restore directly from disk without using the LAN is key to business continuity which ensures improved regulatory compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley, Europe's Data Protection Act and Japan’s HPB 517. |

| NetVault: Backup gives administrators the best of both worlds by keeping offsite backups remote while retaining fresh backups on disk for ultra-fast restores. Users can optimize for enhanced speed or cost by selecting from multiple SAN environments (Fibre channel, gigabit ethernet or iSCSI). They can also select the backup approach that best suits their environment including Full, Incremental, Differential or Consolidated. |

| A shorter backup window minimizes the performance impact on mission critical applications, enhances overall operational efficiency, and increases the time available for production jobs. SVTL reduces hardware costs by minimizing the impact on tape drives of frequent stop/starts which wear down drives and stress the tape media with potential errors. Simultaneous backups from multiple data streams further enhance administrative productivity while reducing the learning curve involved since the SVTL operates just like a physical tape device. Typically a center must buy multiple disk units and then attach each disk unit to a distributed resource. SVTL uses a single centralized disk unit which improves disk utilization and results in major savings in free space requirement, management time and energy consumption. |

· Netvault License Key 입력 방법
1. 넷볼트 초기 화면에서 클라이언트 메니저먼트 를 클릭합니다.
2. 클라이언트 프레임에서 라이센스 백업 대상 넷볼트 클라이언트를 선택한 후 오른쪽 마우스 키 버튼을 클릭합니다.
3. 다음과 같이 팝업메뉴가 나타나면 속성을 클릭합니다.
4. 클라이언트 속성에서 Machine ID를 확인합니다. ( 라이센스 정보와 일치하는지 확인합니다.)
5. Machine ID 를 확인 후 다시 넷볼트 클라이언트를 선택하여 오른쪽 마우스 키 버튼을 사용하여 Install License Key 를 선택합니다.
6. Install License Key 를 선택하면 다음과 같은 화면이 나타납니다.
Enter Key String : 에서 라이센스 키를 입력하면 됩니다.
입력 후 라이센스 키가 정상적으로 적용 되었는지 확인합니다.
